Client Objective
A major pharmaceutical manufacturer wanted to streamline the fulfillment and printing of literature and premiums to all sales force personnel and brand stakeholders. The primary objectives of the client were to increase overall efficiency, increase accuracy of inventory, improve functionality over the existing system and processes and raise the satisfaction level of users and stakeholders.

Budco Solution
Budco created an end-to-end solution that includes an online, custom-modified literature and materials ordering platform supported by a customer service call center to resolve any issues and drive rapid adoption of the platform. The platform was designed to support primary care, specialty and institutional sales representatives, national and local account management in managed markets and internal marketing, promotions and distribution professionals and system administrators. Budco hosts the site.
 
Role-based permissions control access to items in respect to job function, target-physician specialty, geography or other demographic to facilitate rapid selection of materials and minimize confusion. Daily sales force roster updates ensure that only currently employed staff have ongoing access to this business-critical application.

Results

  • Better control over material ordering and utilization has significantly reduced waste and improved material production forecasting, leading to more than $250,000 in annual cost reductions
  • Improved controls over shipping alternatives and the reduction of high cost “rush orders”  have led to an 8% average annual reduction in transportation cost

Client Objective
A leading pharmaceutical company and provider of one of the most popular women’s health products needed a partner to manage and execute an ongoing loyalty and persistency program. This included managing a consumer database, providing a toll-free patient support line for frequently asked questions, providing Web site hosting for online transactions and an eMail “push” component to provide online coupons, producing personalized follow-up communications, fulfilling information kits, coupons, rebate checks and certificates and providing real-time program reporting.

Budco designed and implemented an all encompassing end-to-end solution that included a series of eNewsletters designed to set expectations and inform users about what to expect while on therapy, incorporated a method to track and reward users for persistency and compliance and developed an analytics process to identify potential “switchers” and a method to take preventive action to attempt to keep the user on therapy.
