Community Involvement

Corporate Giving has always been an important part of the fabric of the Budco organization. Budco believes that, besides an economic purpose, we have an important responsibility to make a social impact. This impact is made not only by the employment opportunities that we create as a result of our growth, but by the support we are able to provide to the community, enhancing the quality of life of its residents, due to our vitality.

Our focus corporately is on organizations that support family and children, with the emphasis on creating lasting change. Our charitable efforts fall into several areas: financial contributions, in-kind services and volunteerism. We also have a role as a catalyst in the community to bring about change. As Budco grows, our ability to support our community grows as well. We believe this is the way it is supposed to be:

• Our goal is to make a difference, especially in the urban community. Our great cities need to grow and prosper.
• Our hope is that the support we provide will have implications well beyond its monetary value.
• Our desire is to partner with organizations that allow our employees to get involved in a hands-on and meaningful way.
• Our hope is to make a meaningful impact in the Highland Park community. Due to our desire to support our neighbors, Budco established the Budco Giving Fund, a donor-advised fund specifically to support Highland Park non-profits.

The Budco Giving Fund

The Budco Giving Fund was established to help Highland Park, Michigan, to become a better place to live and work by enhancing the quality of life of its residents. It's an important way that Budco "gives back" to the community. Highland Park organizations, as well as those outside the city limits, that impact the citizens of Highland Park are encouraged to apply to the Budco Giving Fund for financial assistance. Budco's goal is to become a major catalyst in strengthening and rebuilding the community.
