2010 found Budco continuing positive growth in new and existing vertical markets, including pharmaceutical, health care and consumer packaged goods.
Budco completed the acquisition of the fulfillment and database marketing divisions of the Direct Group, a New Jersey-based direct marketing company. The acquisition strengthened Budco's fulfillment and database marketing capabilities and expanded the organization’s overall geographic footprint. Budco's fulfillment and direct marketing operations grew to include three Michigan-based facilities, two New Jersey-based facilities and a California-based strategic fulfillment partner. Through this growth, Budco now provides complete coast-to-coast operations, with stronger fulfillment and account management resources, as well as expanded mailing and logistic options for clients.
Investments in new technology were also a focus. Digital color printing capabilities were upgraded by moving to the Xerox iGen4 print platform and additional automated production and packaging systems were added, further strengthening Budco’s overall fulfillment capabilities.
Industry recognition for Budco’s work continued with Best Practice awards from PODi and two DMA Target Awards for excellence in direct marketing.
Budco maintained its quality focus, successfully re-certifying for ISO 9001:2008 and putting new processes and infrastructure in place to ensure full compliance with GMP and FDA regulations related to supporting the pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods industries.
